Personally I can't see any difference. An abolished veto will have its effects even when the repealing act is not explicitly referred to.<br /><br />Moreover, what is to prevent the act being applied even when the issue has not been announce via a General Election Manifesto?<br /><br />Further, we must remember that the House of Lords now also has been altered beyond recognition.<br /><br />BTW, should we indeed feel so much better if tyranny comes through a General Election Manifesto?J.K.
