  1. The greatest disaster for the entire Europe. Germany should be treated just like France was after 1815. Austria-Hungary should not be destroyed, opening the way for new imperialism in the era. The republic in Germany, opened also the Brandenburg gate to Adolph Hitler.

  2. Great photo! Our country's changed so much since then. Can't be helped I guess. I don't know if we'll ever see times of national and international crisis like that again. If we do, I pray we can pull together to get through it.

  3. I spent this past summer cycling around the Ypres salient and Somme taking photos for my classes and signing the registries in over 200 CWGCs. To visit these areas and see how time remembers the conflict is deeply humbling. If you're interested I've started a website on blogger of these sites but given my increased workload have not properly added expository to the entries.
