we, French Canadian have often the reputation not to be neither monarchist, nor loyal to the Crown. I am very proud that this film has been directed by one of us. It is a great film. I do remember that my late mother used to talk about Queen Victoria as "The old Queen", as if she was a member of our family as a king of great grand mother. God bless our Queen! Marchamain
A great film. I'm glad this blog brought it to my attention a while ago so I had a chance to see it in the theatre.
