(By the way, even though the Royal designation has not formally been restored to the Navy yet, notice how ministers seem to use every opportunity to say Royal Canadian Navy. I sense that the government feels that a simple proclamation from the Queen is not sufficient, that the motion currently before the Senate needs to proceed first.)
Yes, it was gratifying to see. Isn't about bloody time we had a Queen's First Minister who isn't afraid to demonstrate his allegiance to the Crown? A big BZ to the PM. I also noted Mr. Moore's use of RCN. I believe if it was a non-starter then Ministers would be instructed to refrain from that terminology. I just wish the Senate would get on with debating the Canadian Navy motion so we can get some movement on the issue.
